Payment and shipping
Payment
We deliver against prepayment by bank transfer. No surcharge applies to it.
- PayPal, from Switzerland, the United Kingdom and overseas
- For a PayPal payment, a fee of 6 % is charged.
Please do not transfer anything immediately after ordering. Some of our models are one-offs, so we check every order by hand. You will receive:
- an acknowledgement of receipt straight away — it says your order has arrived, nothing more;
- usually within one working day a second e-mail with the confirmation, the total amount and our bank details.
Only then do you transfer the money, quoting your order number as the reference. As soon as it reaches us, the parcel goes out.
Shipping costs
We ship with Austrian Post or Hermes — which of the two we use depends on the destination and the parcel. The cost depends on the weight of the parcel and the destination country. Within the EU the amounts are final prices including VAT; to all other countries without VAT.

Heavy shipments
Austrian Post does not accept parcels over 31.5 kg. Should your cart become that heavy, please write to us at shop@modelltoys-austria.at — we will split the shipment and come back to you with the shipping cost.
Where we currently cannot deliver
Austrian Post has suspended acceptance for these countries. Unfortunately we cannot ship there: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bhutan, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Kiribati, Kuwait, Libya, Mali, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Niger, Palau, Palestinian Territories, Pitcairn Islands, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tonga, Tuvalu, USA, Belarus.
Delivery time
We dispatch within two working days of receiving your payment. How long the parcel is then on its way depends on the destination and the carrier. As non-binding guide values: within Austria usually one to three working days, within Europe usually up to one week, overseas up to three weeks. The carriers do not publish binding transit times.
Every shipment comes with a tracking number. You will receive your order no later than 30 days after we receive your payment, or 45 days for deliveries to countries outside Europe.
